Through sixteen contemporary portraits and interviews of long term recreational and medical cannabis users in Australia, photographer Simon Bernhardt is attempting to dispel stereotypes, while sparking serious debate about whether cannabis is really a gateway drug, and its possible future legalisation for medical and recreational use.
Accompanying the exhibition is a limited-edition book which aims to eliminate any emotion from the sensitive subject of illegal drug use and portray the human face and story behind each cannabis user.
